This wikiHow teaches you how to delete auto-fill form information on Google Chrome, such as passwords, text fields, addresses, and credit cards that you have saved.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Delete AutoFill Data
Step 1. Open Google Chrome
If you use Windows, you can usually find this program in the "Start" menu. If you are using a computer with macOS operating system, you should find it in the "Applications" folder.
Step 2. Hit Option + Shift + Delete (macOS) or Ctrl + ⇧ Shift + Del (Windows).
This will open a window titled "Clear Browsing Data".
Step 3. Select All from the drop-down menu
This option is located at the top of the screen. This will ensure that all autofill information saved on Chrome will be deleted.
Step 4. Check the box next to "Automatic form fill data"
It's almost at the bottom of the list.
Step 5. Remove the check mark from all other options
This will ensure that no data other than autofill data will be deleted.
If you want to delete other browser data, select at this time the ones you want to delete
Step 6. Click Clear Data
This blue button is located at the bottom of the menu and allows you to delete all autofill data.
Method 2 of 2: Delete Addresses and Credit Cards from Chrome
Step 1. Open Google Chrome
If you use a computer with a Windows operating system, you can usually find it in the "Start" menu. If you are using a computer with macOS operating system, you should find it in the "Applications" folder.
Step 2. Click on ⁝
This button is located in the upper right corner of the window.
Step 3. Click on Settings
Step 4. Scroll down and click on Advanced
This link is at the bottom of the screen.
Step 5. Scroll down and click on Autofill
In this section you will find a list with the following options: "Password", "Payment methods" and "Addresses and more".
Step 6. Click the ⁝ button next to the address you want to delete
Step 7. Click Remove
This address will no longer appear automatically in forms.
Step 8. Click the arrow box next to the credit card you want to delete
This will open the page dedicated to Google Pay.
Step 9. Click Remove next to the card you want to delete
A confirmation message will appear.
Step 10. Click Remove
This credit card will no longer be used to automatically fill in the payment field on Chrome.
