Ingrediants
- 200 g of fresh strawberries, cut into small pieces
- 1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
- 225 g of Butter
- 250 + 60 g powdered sugar, sifted
Steps
Step 1. Pour the strawberries into the blender
Blend them until you have a puree with a uniform consistency. Transfer it to a saucepan, and heat it using a medium heat. Cook the puree for about 20-25 minutes, not forgetting to stir frequently.
Step 2. Beat the butter with an electric whisk, until soft and creamy
Repeat the process gradually incorporating the two doses of icing sugar. Finish by adding 2 tablespoons of strawberry puree and vanilla extract.
Step 3. Stir one last time with the whisk
Continue until the frosting begins to take on a pleasant pink color.
Step 4. Place the frosting in the refrigerator for about 40-45 minutes
During this time, it will thicken its texture. Don't forget to cover the container with cling film.
