The refreshing properties of sparkling water go perfectly with the sweet but sour taste of the pomegranate. Making a pomegranate-flavored fizzy drink is easy. A classic drink can be made in a few minutes, but it is also possible to enrich it with cranberries. For even better results, use fresh pomegranate seeds.

Steps
Method 1 of 3: Make a Pomegranate Fizzy Drink
Step 1. In a large pitcher, punch bowl, or similar container, mix equal parts pomegranate juice and soda water
Add the sugar and mix with a wooden spoon until you get the desired flavor, letting the grains dissolve well.
Step 2. Place ice cubes in a glass until it is full and pour in the pomegranate juice
Squeeze a lemon wedge into the drink. Stir with a spoon or straw to distribute the lemon juice and serve.
Step 3. Keep the drink in the fridge using an airtight container, which allows you to keep it sparkling longer
It can be stored for several days.
Method 2 of 3: Prepare some sparkling water based on cranberries and pomegranate
Step 1. In a large jug or similar bowl, mix the soda water and juices to a ratio of 4: 1
For example, use 30ml of cranberry juice and 30ml of pomegranate juice for every 120ml of water. Prepare the desired amount of liquid, taste the drink and add some syrup to sweeten it.
Add and mix the syrup using a wooden spoon. If you don't do this, the syrup can settle to the bottom
Step 2. Pour the drink into a glass filled with ice and squeeze a lime wedge into it
Stir to evenly distribute the citrusy lime flavor, then serve the drink.
Step 3. Keep leftover liquid in the fridge, as it can be kept for several days
Pour it into an airtight container to prevent it from losing its sparkling properties.
Method 3 of 3: Extract the juice from pomegranate seeds
Step 1. Open the pomegranate
On the top and bottom of the fruit, the rind hardens and can be cut. Remove it until you see the red seeds inside, then cut the pomegranate into wedges.
- Being a bright red, pomegranate juice tends to leave stains, so be careful. Better to wear gloves and an apron to perform this procedure.
- Remove juice that gets on kitchen surfaces immediately using soapy water to prevent stains.
Step 2. Put the pomegranate in a bowl filled with water
The bowl should be large enough to hold all the wedges. Remove the larger pieces of zest that have come to the surface.
Step 3. Separate the seeds from the rind
The peel of the pomegranate emerges on the surface, while the seeds settle on the bottom. Using clean hands, peel the seeds off the rind. Remove the peel from the water. Repeat until all is removed.
Step 4. Prepare the blender
Drain the water and transfer the seeds to the blender. Close the lid and pulse it only a couple of times, no more, otherwise the juice will become cloudy.
Step 5. Strain the juice into an airtight container using a fine mesh strainer
Pour the seeds into it to filter the juice.
Once the juice has been filtered, press the pulp onto the strainer net with a wooden spoon to release the juice it contains
Step 6. Store the juice in the fridge
It should last for a few days. Add it to carbonated water to make a refreshing drink. You can also pour it over the salad to give it a sour and refreshing note.
