The blunt tip of the crayons can be easily sharpened again with just a little hot water. That's how.
Steps
Method 1 of 5: With Hot Water
Step 1. Dip the blunt tip of the crayon into a basin of warm water
Leave it to soak for a few minutes. If you don't want to keep the pastel still all the time, tie it to a string which is in turn tied to a pencil. Place a stack of books on either side of the basin and place the pencil on top of the two piles of books with the crayon dangling in the basin at such a height that only the tip is submerged in the water.
Step 2. Remove after a few minutes
Step 3. Reshape the tip with your fingers
Method 2 of 5: With an electric pencil sharpener
Step 1. Purchase a pencil sharpener
It is similar to an electric pencil sharpener.
Step 2. Insert the tip of the crayon into the sharpener and let it scrape off the wax until the tip is sharp
It is a quick and more practical system than the previous system, if you have the possibility to buy the sharpener.
Method 3 of 5: With a manual pencil sharpener
Step 1. Purchase a manual pencil sharpener
Step 2. Sharpen the tip of the crayon the same way you would sharpen that of a pencil
Method 4 of 5: With a Knife
Step 1. Get a knife and a crayon
The knife doesn't have to be very sharp, a butter knife can be fine.
Step 2. Slide the knife across the tip of the crayon, back and forth
Be careful not to cut yourself!
Cutting from the base of the crayon towards the tip is the easiest method but you can also try side-to-side
Method 5 of 5: With Sandpaper
Step 1. Place the tip of the crayon on the sandpaper
Step 2. Rub the sandpaper back and forth until the tip is sharp
Rotate the crayon as needed to smooth each side and form the tip.
