With a little effort, you can have a natural and fantastic look for school. This will allow you to feel confident and relaxed throughout your days, whether it's in middle school, high school or college.
Steps
Step 1. Hair
Let's start with the hairstyle, because people always pay attention to the hair. Shampoo professionally every other day or every three days. Never forget to use conditioner - it will soften your hair after washing. You can safely use the brands available in the supermarket, such as Pantene, Herbal Essences or Garnier.
- If necessary, dye them. As bright as it is, single-colored hair does not flatter any one, unless you can sport a nice tan and magnetic eyes. Do you have very fair or yellowish skin? Avoid ash blonde, go for a darker color.
- Do the highlights and ask your hairdresser to create a cut that fits your face. A layered is ideal if you have straight hair, while if it is curly and frizzy it is better to leave it long and apply a gel or a spray to keep it at bay.
- Leave the zigzag lines alone and don't spray too much hairspray. For shiny, healthy-looking hair, do the final rinse with cold water when you wash it.
- Of course, remember to brush your hair every morning. Nobody feels attracted to girls with untidy and dirty hair. Do not use a hair dryer, as it can dry out and damage the barrel.
Step 2. Take care of your skin
Acne is caused by two factors: a lack of treatment and a genetic issue. Wash your face morning and night and don't apply too much foundation, otherwise it won't breathe.
- Use a cleanser and moisturizer twice a day - never miss this appointment. Before going out, apply a lotion containing an SPF of at least 10 to protect your skin.
- Make sure the moisturizer is oil-free, otherwise it can clog pores and make the situation worse. Avoid getting a tan: after 30 your skin won't thank you for it.
Step 3. Eyes
Upon awakening, your eyes may be puffy, drooping eyelashes and tired eyes. In short, we must run for cover.
- Here is a suggestion given by Ole Henriksen, a great expert in the world of cosmetics: fill a sink halfway with cold water and ice cubes; soak a towel and gently press it onto your face and eyes (for 10 seconds each).
- Apply an anti-aging eye contour - it's never too early to start. Once the eyes have deflated, make a thin line of eyeliner (black, brown or gray) on the upper lid; draw a white pencil in the inner rim of the eye. Curl your eyebrows and apply a swipe or two of good quality, lump-free mascara.
- Take a golden eyeshadow, pick up some product with your little finger and dab it in the inner corner of the eye and at the beginning of the inner rim. Use concealer to cover dark circles. Choose a light, neutral eyeshadow for the eyelid, otherwise the look will be too flashy for school.
- Putting on false lashes is a bad idea.
Step 4. Don't forget your lips
They should be soft and natural looking. No red or deep purple lipsticks: go for light pink ones, although it would be better to apply just a veil of nourishing lip balm, like one from Burt's Bees.
Step 5. Put on some makeup
You can decide to apply make-up or not; in any case, first inform yourself about the school rules in this regard. If you like, apply a tinted moisturizer to even out the complexion, cover blemishes and save time (because it's a two-in-one product). You can also apply just a mineral foundation and concealer.
- If you choose the first option, apply a veil of transparent powder to minimize the shine. Also, before putting on makeup, you always have the option of using a primer that smooths and pre-prepares the skin, to tone down the yellowish color, create a makeup base and avoid moisturizer - try those from Sephora. For rosy cheeks, choose a baby pink blush. Apply it with a brush, spreading it on the cheekbones and blending well.
- Use a lip balm and a "nude" lipstick for plumper lips, otherwise a touch of gloss is enough. Before going to sleep, apply a lip balm, which will allow you to feel hydrated lips when you wake up.
- Make sure you get rid of any make-up from the previous day before putting on the new one. Lip tints are particularly persistent, so it is absolutely important to eliminate residues.
Step 6. Put on a fresh deodorant with a citrus or minty fragrance
Then, apply a sweet or spicy scented moisturizer all over your body, except your face. Perfume is another useful product to always know good. Also use a fragrance designed specifically for your hair, as long as it doesn't damage your hair.
Step 7. Choose a cute outfit, preferably informal, for everyday life
For example, you can wear an original shirt, a pair of skinny jeans and tennis shoes. For a preppy look, opt for a bodycon and knee-length dress in cherry red, some bracelets and a pair of particularly high sandals.
- Are you wearing a uniform? Make sure the skirt is not too long, that the shirt is comfortable and that the tie fits in place; add at least one lively and trendy accessory, at most two. The bohemian and age-appropriate outfits are ideal for showing off a natural look; to create this style she wears fringed skirts, soft sweaters, suede bags with fringes and garments and accessories in colors that recall those of the earth; combine them with pink, lime green and 70s floral print pieces.
- Accessories are essential to make your outfit unique, always respecting the rules of the dress code.
Step 8. Remember to exercise to take care of your body
Don't eat junk. As for your personality, don't be sassy or obnoxious, but cute, and don't take life too seriously. Don't forget that you only live once! Get enough sleep and exercise so you'll always be in shape. The most opaque makeup there is and the best-matched outfit on the planet don't have the power to hide a grumpy face.
Step 9. This does not mean that you should ignore your future and be superficial
Girls are considered cute and nice if they can have interesting conversations and are educated. A beautiful girl loses points if she is boring, obnoxious or annoying when she opens her mouth - so you won't impress anyone!
Advice
- When you wake up, moisten your hands with water and then quickly massage your face: this will reactivate the circulation.
- Brush your teeth, always floss, and keep mints in your bag. Nobody likes bad breath girls!
- Prepare an emergency kit and always leave it in your backpack. It must contain a lip balm, mascara, blush, anti-blemish gel, clear powder and concealer. It is also helpful to have sanitary pads and other necessary feminine items on hand. Sure, you don't have your period, but it might surprise you!
- When shopping for beauty products, try to choose cruelty-free and non-animal testing brands!
- When you have the choice between fingers and brushes for makeup, it is often better to opt for the latter: the sebum and germs on the fingers are not good for the skin. If you really have no choice, wash your hands well first.
- Don't go overboard with the lip liner.
- When you apply the towel that you dipped in ice water over your eyes, don't overdo the pressure you apply, otherwise you will leave red marks.
- Buy a nebulizer and fill it with a refreshing or soothing toner (you can try those from Sephora). It will help soften your skin and set your makeup throughout the day.
- Curl your lashes to open your eyes and look cuter!
- People who wear glasses can switch to contact lenses, otherwise it is always possible to choose a different frame than usual; it should not be too big for the face, but should emphasize it.
Warnings
- You don't necessarily have to wear makeup, you can go to school with a soap and water look.
- Remember, looks aren't everything. If you behave in an unpleasant and surly manner, your beauty will completely take a back seat and you will be described as arrogant and haughty. Always show your inner beauty too - you will be even more charming.
- Don't wear too much makeup.
- Don't overdo the conditioner, otherwise your hair will get fat right away.
