Steps
Step 1. Wash the peppers
Wear disposable gloves to protect the skin on your hands and prevent accidental eye contact later.
Step 2. Cut and discard the stalk and end of the chilli
Step 3. Cut the chili in half
Start by cutting it in half vertically, then divide the two halves horizontally.
Step 4. With the knife remove the seeds and fibrous parts inside the chili
Simply slide the blade over the pulp inside the chili. Discard the seeds and white parts.
Step 5. Cut the chilli quarters into cubes using a sharp knife

Step 6. Use the diced chili as required in your recipes

Alternatively, use a food processor to chop the dried chillies, they are more resistant to cutting

- If you handle the peppers with your bare hands do not touch your eyes or nose, you could transfer the essential and spicy oils causing a noticeable burning!
- If you don't remove the seeds and the fibrous part before cutting the chillies into cubes, you will get a messy result, as opposed to the meticulous one shown in the image.
