There is so much you can do by helping your community, your family, your friends, animals, the environment and the planet! Here are a couple of tips to get you started. Individually we are only one person, but together we are millions.
Steps
Step 1. Be kind and cooperative with people
For example, if someone is carrying groceries to the car and they drop a bag, help them collect their groceries and put it back in the bag. Simple things like this are highly appreciated by everyone!
Step 2. Donate money to various causes and to charity
Even if you can't give more than one euro, you are still helping.
Step 3. Give everyone you see a smile no matter who they are or what they do
Walk the path that will make you happy and that will make others happy too.
Step 4. Don't say cruel things about others - never
There is no need, and you can always say GOOD things about people and feel better.
Step 5. Invest in your community by eating, shopping and spending locally
Most of the new jobs are provided by local businesses and reduce the environmental impact. The non-profit receives a lot of support from local businesses.
Step 6. Reuse
Following this principle, recycle everything that has a recycling label. Other things besides paper, cardboard, plastic water bottles and many other things are recyclable! You can also reuse things, like refilling a plastic bottle instead of buying another one.
Step 7. Don't leave rubbish lying around
.. nothing!
Step 8. Save energy
More cuts and fewer fossil fuels are burned which release CO2. Try turning off the lights or lowering the temperature in the house by one degree, this also helps your wallet!
Step 9. Don't drive unless necessary
Don't drive unless necessary to save fuel
Step 10. Have a composter in the yard
It's perfect for throwing in egg shells, banana peels and other fruit. It will keep the deposits lower and cleaner and make your garden healthier.
Step 11. Don't smoke
Smoking is not only bad for you, it also hurts everyone around you. This is called secondhand smoke. Many people avoid this, but cigarette smoke pollutes the air. Smoking is not good for anything!
Step 12. Don't contribute to animal abuse
There are companies that do "animal experiments" which are really harmful to animals! Many products (shampoos, lotions, body products, medicines, etc.) experiment by testing products on animals. If a product has a "No animal testing" label, there is a good chance it is a company that does not test its products on animals. If possible, buy less meat and less animal products.
Step 13. Do not abuse animals in any way, and if you know someone who does, report them immediately
Step 14. Give to the needy
So many children and even adults are living in very poor conditions all over the world! You can help them by donating items, old and new (but in good condition) or that you don't want such as clothes, food, toys and whatever else they need! Everything pays off in the long run!
Step 15. Save as much as possible
Again, simpler things like just taking a shower a day (unless absolutely necessary), and never letting the water run when brushing your teeth, helps tremendously! Buy low energy bulbs! They last for many more years and cost less than half a month of a normal light bulb!
Step 16. Save water
Use it well because it is a limited resource.
Step 17. Work hard
One of the best things we can do for others is to do the best we can at work. If you think your job is not contributing to society, think about finding another one but, in many cases, doing more at work does a lot more for the world than you imagine.
Step 18. Plant some trees
Step 19. Try to avoid stepping on ants or insects
Imagine how much it would hurt if a giant foot crushed you. Instead of squashing the spiders, use a shoe box and a piece of newspaper to catch them and free them outside.
Step 20. Be a good parent
Love your children and they will grow up as healthy individuals.
Step 21. You can improve your education and help feed the hungry
Step 22. You can help science by volunteering in processing
Step 23. Follow the rules of Karma
If everyone followed these laws we would all be better people.
Step 24. Try and do at least one unsolicited good deed or act of kindness per day
Whether it's just smiling at strangers or helping an elderly person cross the street, or checking that an elderly neighbor is okay, everything you do helps make the world a better place.
Step 25. Plant a vegetable garden
This helps the environment and lets you know what went into the food you eat. When children are involved in gardening, they eat while planting.
Advice
- Make sure you let virtually everyone know that you are aware of pollution and especially global warming. We have freedom of speech so stand on a big stone and tell the world how you can help by recounting the steps listed above in your "surprise speech".
- Volunteer at elementary school to support reading. Just being nice to children teaches them to be nice to others in turn.
- It's always a good thing to please someone. Never be afraid to help someone.
- Don't leave trash lying around. Instead recycle.
- Becoming a vegetarian doesn't just help animals! It reduces carbon dioxide emissions (helps with global warming and the environment), allows for greater amounts of food made for the hungry, and also reduces your risk of cancer (not to mention heart disease and obesity)!
- Start a large garden with all the compost you've made, and grow food so you don't have to buy it out.
- Don't throw food away. It is better to buy less food than to buy a lot and then be forced to throw it away.
Warnings
- Not only large charities need money, but small ones too.
- Protect the weakest, speak for those who cannot speak for themselves, fight for those who cannot fight for themselves.
- If you know a way to make the world a better place, do it and teach others how to do it, spread the word!
