This article describes a simple technique for drawing a caterpillar.
Steps
Step 1. Draw four lowercase "m" letters
Join them so that there are no free spaces between them; remember to write them rounded, not pointed.
Step 2. Draw a circle just after the last "m"
Step 3. Starting from the circle draw some "m" upside down working backwards from the first row of letters
Make sure that the center of each inverted "m" is perfectly aligned with the center of the one above. Join the two rows of letters near the tail giving it an almost triangular shape.
Step 4. Draw two lines sticking out from the top of the head
At the end of each of these draw a small circle; these lines are the antennae of the insect.
