Step 1. First of all, balance the cards
- Monsters: 17-26
- Magic: 8-15

Build a Dragon Deck in Yu Gi Oh! Step 3 Step 2. If you have enough level 3 or lower dragon cards, you can use some cyber dark cards. Note: they are unable to compete with today's standards - only use them if you are not participating in tournaments.
Build a Dragon Deck in Yu Gi Oh! Step 4 Step 3. You will need cards to support your Dragon deck, such as Red-Eyes Dark Metal Dragon
Step 4. If you have Lord of D on the field, the Tribe D card will protect all your monsters from trap / spell cards
However this step is optional, very often it turns out to be useless. Lord of D is also a below average card as it is very slow.

If you don't have enough low-level dragon monster cards, you can add warriors or other cards to the deck (as long as you don't use a Future Fusion / Branch combo), but try to stay on the dragons. Note: in official Future Fusion tournaments it is banned.
Build a Dragon Deck in Yu Gi Oh! Step 7 Step 6. Insert at least four spell / trap cards that nullify or destroy the other spell / trap cards
The best to use are undoubtedly Forbidden Spear and Mystical Space Typhoon.
Step 7. Use basic cards, such as Black Hole and Book of the Moon
One of the must-have cards in a dragon deck is Dragon Throat.

There are many, such as "Blue-Eyes White Dragon Saga" or "Dragons Conflict".
Advice
- For variation use Dragons and Warriors, it will allow you to synchronize your deck
- Another powerful deck is "Chaos Dragons".
- Dragunits are back on the crest of the wave: They are very strong, especially with Storm, Dragon Ruler of Storms, or Dragon Throat. Don't get stuck with the weaker cards, though.
- If you use Dragon Lord Knight, don't use Black Glory. Not a useful card, use another one. Like Mystical Sheep # 2
- Put some Cyber Dragons or Cyber Ultimate Dragon in your deck instead of Blue-Eyes White Dragon. They are much easier to summon. When you summon Ultimate Cyber Dragon, your opponent will be forced to play defensive due to the card's effects.
- Hieratic cards are very powerful and have many First Turn Deck features. Take a look.
- Try to have at least 5 or more level 4 or lower monsters, such as Mirage Dragon or Masked Dragon, the former has anti trap effects, the latter has a good attack.
- Armed Dragon are not a good alternative, use them only if you are creating an Armed Dragon Deck.
- Put the 3 blue eyes in the deck, to be able to summon Dragon Lord Knight and Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, but use Destruction cards, such as Transforming Jar, to immediately send them to the graveyard, then summon them with Dragon's Mirror.
Warnings
- The Dragon of Light is Dark card is great, but it may slow down the speed of the deck, as new rules have stipulated that this card negates the effects of your trap / spell cards. Use it with caution.
- Do not use more than 41 cards!
