By following a few simple rules, you will learn how to pose for photographs or take beautiful shots.
Steps
Step 1. Put one foot behind the other, with the front one at 90 degrees to the camera
You will get a slimming effect and a more natural result.
Step 2. Rest your body weight on the back foot, to give a relaxed image
Supporting the weight on the front foot would create a tense effect, while distributing it evenly would make you feel stiff.
Step 3. Tilt your head slightly to one side
Generally, we tend to think that it is convenient to stand up straight, but, in reality, the tilted head will make you appear more relaxed.
Step 4. When you turn your head, it comes naturally to tilt it towards the corresponding shoulder but, if you want your portrait to attract positive attention, tilt your head towards the opposite side
With this technique, the neck muscle will bend in such a way as to give it an elongated and elegant shape. This pose, in fact, is often used by models.
Step 5. If the camera is pointed at eye level or lower, lower your chin slightly
Do you have a double chin? Raise the camera above eye level and shift your gaze upwards. This pose works best while seated.
Step 6. The position of the hands
In photos, the hands are often the second most prominent physical feature after the eyes, but many times we don't know where to put them. When the hands are below the waist, they should be pointing down. When they are above the waist, they should instead point slightly upwards. Another thing: do not emphasize them too much. Keep your fingers in and do not bring your hands close to the camera, resulting in a figure that is disproportionate to the position of the body. Always remember that breaking the rules could give you a tense look.
Step 7. Smile
Often, people don't feel comfortable smiling on command. While it is best to smile spontaneously, being able to do so is not always possible. The value of a sincere 32-tooth smile can rarely be compared to a fake half smile, since, when you smile forcefully, the eye muscles are not involved. If you really have to smile on demand, try to create the smile first with your eyes and then with your mouth. There are also many people who try to appear serious and composed at all costs, ending up looking like a serial killer or giving the impression of having just fallen out of bed! Do you want to take on a profound expression? Keep in mind all the advice that has been given to you so far. Relax and tilt your head while looking towards the lens.
