The new pirates are setting the trend. Find out how to join the club.
Steps
Method 1 of 4: Foreplay
Step 1. Buy a pirate ship
It can be any type of boat or ship. See to raise the pirate flag. Cannons are optional, but highly recommended.
Step 2. Enlist a crew of pirates
Old sea wolves are preferable, but freshwater sailors will do as well.
Step 3. Get a talking parrot
Method 2 of 4: Clothing
Step 1. Wear a variety of bandanas, especially ones with skull and crossbones designs on them, or red and black ones
When you're not wearing the bandana, ruffle your hair slightly. You can also use an eye patch; get one from a costume shop.
Step 2. Choose appropriate colors
White, ivory, beige, cream or salmon colored shirts are perfect for your pirate look. All-black, white or beige shirts with cropped sleeves would be a great bonus to your wardrobe. Long-sleeved, colorful and buttonable shirts are very "pirate". Make sure they fit you loose enough, not that they fit like the ones a business executive would wear in the office. Make sure you don't put the shirt in your pants except for the front creating a saggy look (regardless of the decorations) and unbutton a few buttons at the collar of the shirt.
Step 3. Choose a suitable fabric and pattern
Try on capri pants or cotton harem pants that fit you big. These are incredibly piratical if you have the physical characteristics to wear them! Avoid jeans and other modern fabrics. Stick to hemp, cotton, wool, and other natural fabrics. Use only those in natural and brown colors. It is a good idea to tear the hem from the pants to make them more lived-in, but also to widen them, because they would have been stolen pants from men. If you live in a colder climate, you should wear long pants during the winter. Avoid short skirts. You could wear a skirt that reaches above the knees over harem pants and high boots.
Step 4. Wear "gold" jewelry
Jewelery is perfect for this purpose - what would you have pilfered from another ship?
Method 3 of 4: Hair, skin & makeup
Step 1. Style your hair
If you have dark skin, dreadlocks are great. Black, dirty blonde, tan, and red are all great shades, but your natural color should be fine too. If dreadlocks don't suit you, wrap your hair in numerous small braids to achieve a similar effect. You can get your hair done at a hairdresser with an electric hair curler. If you have a very patient friend (or friend) with nimble fingers, you can have him or her do them. Alternatively, you can just ruffle your hair so it looks sloppy.
Step 2. Consider getting a tan if you have very fair, olive or golden skin
Step 3. Put on blush a shade or two darker than your natural skin tone
You should distribute it under the cheekbones to enhance them.
Step 4. Use a little eye shadow; stick to natural tones, or don't wear it at all
Mascara is fine, as long as it's black or brown; same thing goes for eyeliner.
Step 5. Lips should be tinted with some shade of red, flesh-colored, natural or unstained
They don't have to be too shiny. Avoid using lip liner. There is no need to use either lipstick or lip gloss.
Step 6. Use a little nail polish
Pirates weren't used to nail polish, but if you feel naked without it, apply a clear, black or flesh-colored polish. The length of the nails should be the same as a guy with fairly manicured hands. Just let the dirt accumulate under the nail!
Step 7. Keep your hands and feet rough and callused
Walk barefoot to enhance the effect. Avoid wearing any type of footwear.
Step 8. Don't even think about trying to be a "nice" girl
Pirates aren't cute, and your "not" goal is to be cute and sexy. It would be too embarrassing.
Method 4 of 4: How to behave
Step 1. Have a pirate personality and try your hand at pirate favorite hobbies to complete your pirate look
Be as funny and witty as possible. Act tough and like you're a very popular girl. Pirates are always a little arrogant. Have fun rowing. Fencing is a perfect activity for you. You can also play cards or dice, but don't use real money. Use pieces of eight, which are the official pirate currency. Practice breaking doors, but remember that you may have problems with the carabinieri if they find burglary tools on you.
Step 2. Act like an arrogant person would, but don't pretend to be too popular
Raise your head, but don't walk with your nose in the air. Walk with your feet on the ground, but do it quickly. Keep in mind that pirates are drunk most of the time, so try to stagger a little too.
Step 3. Gesture as much as you can and use your body language
On a ship, more often than not, you have to talk with facts rather than words.
Step 4. Talk like a pirate would
Step 5. Be proud, be strong and flaunt your "piracy"
There are pirates of all shapes and sizes. The important thing is that their bodies belong only to them and they do what they want with it.
Step 6. Never hit, kick or insult those you love
Respect them deeply but don't treat them as if they are not self-sufficient.
Step 7. DO NOT overdo it or you will get burned
Sometimes excessive makeup, mascara, eyeliner, and lip gloss will exaggerate your look and get the opposite effect to what you want.
Advice
- Red is the color par excellence of pirates.
- Be a tomboy. Girls are not allowed on a pirate ship.
Warnings
- This is not a precise description of real pirates, but a guide for girls who want to join modern pirate clubs.
- Don't kill anyone.
- Be careful who you show your pirate side. Strolling the streets, with swagger as if you were drunk, you will make someone turn up their noses and they may ask you embarrassing questions.
- No tan is safe. By getting tanned, you can end up with skin cancer or, at best, early spots or wrinkles on your face. Consider an artificial tan.
