Are you tired of always playing the same games? How about trying this baseball-like game called kickball? Read this article to understand the basics and rules!
Steps
Step 1. Materials
1 Ball as thick as basketball and slightly larger than volleyball. 2 Baseball field or field with stones, bricks, or whatever else you think might work.
Step 2. Create a diamond-shaped baseball field
Step 3. Decide on the teams
Each team can have a captain if you prefer.
Step 4. Choose which team will start
The other team will have to position themselves in the field, choosing the various positions of the different players - like in baseball. One person must be the pitcher.
Step 5. Choose a list of players to beat
Batting players must choose a list of players (an order) to bat.
Step 6. Roll the ball
The pitcher rolls the ball towards the batter.
Step 7. Kick the ball
The first person on the list of the team opposing that of the pitcher hits the ball towards the court.
- As a hitter, you will have to run to first base, then second and so on around the pitch (like in baseball!). If you make it home, you will have scored a point.
- As a member of the team positioned in the field, try to catch the ball on the fly (if you can, it will be an out for the opposing team). If you don't make it, run to the ball and then to the base immediately after the base where the batter is, to prevent him from getting there, or touch him directly while you have the ball in your hand (or throw it at him).
Step 8. Change
When a team has made three outs, they change.
Step 9. Find out who ultimately won according to the number of points scored
For a good fair play, at the end of the game the two teams can line up in front of each other and shake hands saying "Good game".
