Summer is here, show off sandals and flip flops too! To do this, however, you don't need to shell out money for a French pedicure weekly. Save them to buy more shoes! Here's how to easily make it at home.
Steps
Step 1. Dip your feet in warm water
Use Epsom salts to soften them.
Step 2. Use the pumice stone to exfoliate rough areas and have nice, soft feet
Step 3. Apply lotion or petroleum jelly to your feet and legs to make them silky
Step 4. Use a cuticle cutter to remove dead skin cells around the toenails
Be careful not to go too deep, just cut the dead skin!
Step 5. Rinse your feet and apply a nourishing cream
Wait a few minutes for it to absorb.
Step 6. Use a cotton ball dipped in acetone to wipe the lotion and / or nail polish off
Step 7. Apply white polish to the tip of each nail
Let it dry and apply a second coat, so that the result is uniform. Don't worry if you need to do some touch-ups, you'll think about it later!
Step 8. Take a brush that you used to apply the concealer or a cotton swab and soak it in a product containing 100% acetone
Remove excess with a paper towel. Usually you just have to pass it at the base of the tip of the nail to get a thin white bezel. Don't worry if you mess up, just try to keep your hand steady.
Step 9. Use the small brush to remove excess white polish until you have a thin and precise bezel
You will need to proceed slowly and pay attention until it is straight; with experience you will become an expert!
Step 10. Let the white nail polish dry for a couple of minutes
To help dry out, slowly dip your feet into ice-cold water. In this way the enamel will last even longer.
Step 11. Swipe with clear polish and voila, you will have a perfect pedicure
Advice
- You can also buy a special pen to create the white bezel - it's easier to use.
- Make sure you let the white nail polish dry before applying the clear one; if it is not dry, the bezel may be damaged.
- Do not soak the cotton swab or brush when soaking it with acetone to fix the white line.
- Try not to apply too much clear polish.
- Use a minimal amount of white polish when making the bezel.
- Make sure the water isn't too hot.
- You can use other colors and stickers to get a better look.
