A barbecue on the campsite or on the beach is not just for cooking sausages, hamburgers and ribs. Leave some room for these delicious mushrooms baked in foil too. This is a really easy recipe, which can also be prepared in advance.

Ingrediants
- 450 g of large mushrooms, cleaned, cut and sliced into 1 cm thick slices
- 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh herbs, such as mint, sage, thyme or rosemary
- 2 - 4 Cloves of Garlic, finely sliced or chopped
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, plus a small dose to grease the foil
Steps
Step 1. Make square shapes (30x30cm) from the aluminum foil
Step 2. Mix all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl
Step 3. Use a pastry brush to grease the dull side of the aluminum foil with oil
Step 4. Pour some of the mixture of ingredients in the center of each sheet, dividing it evenly
Step 5. Fold the four corners inward to wrap the ingredients
You want to replicate the conical shape of a tipi by curling and sealing the top.
Step 6. Place the parcels on the high temperature grill for about 20 - 25 minutes
Step 7. Check the doneness of the mushrooms
They must be soft and juicy.
Step 8. Transfer the contents of the cartons to the plates very carefully
They may contain large amounts of liquids.
Step 9. Serve the mushrooms as a side dish, if you wish you can also enjoy them directly inside the card
This is a normal tradition when camping.
